1The game
New World Mafia is a free, text-based mafia game played in your browser. Everything in it is fiction: the crimes, drugs, guns, casinos and money are made up. Game money has no real value and can never be cashed out.
2Who can play
You need to be at least 16. Give a real email address you can get to (it's how you get back in if you forget your password). You're responsible for keeping your password safe.
3Play fair
Follow the Rules. We can mute, reset or ban accounts that break them, and we don't owe anything for what's lost when we do.
4It's a beta
The game is still being built. Things will break, balance will change, and we may have to reset progress. We'll warn you in the game before any planned wipe where we can.
5Paying for extras
The game is free. If a store opens later, what you can buy and what happens to it will be spelled out here first.
6What you post
You own what you write, but you let us show it in the game. Don't post anything you don't have the right to. We can remove anything that breaks the rules.
7No guarantees
We run the game as it is and as well as we can, but we can't promise it will always be online or bug-free. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for losses from using it. Nothing here limits anything the law says can't be limited.
8Leaving
You can stop playing any time, and we'll delete your account if you ask (see Privacy). We can close accounts that break these terms.
9Changes and law
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so in the game; playing after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
